 “This morning I phoned Island Window Coverings Ltd. at 3381 Tennyson Avenue Victoria, BC, and I spoke to Terry. I mentioned that I had an issue with my Vinyl Blind and was looking to get a new one. So we discussed different blinds because you cannot get my type of blind anymore. Terry gave me some really good suggestions for a new blind for me, and we finally decided on one. Before I hung up the phone Terry asked me what is the issue with my blind, so I explained that the pull strings had broken and so I couldn’t pull up the blinds anymore and the wand gears were slightly broken.To my surprise, Terry immediately told me that she knew a professional who could probably fix my Vinyl Blind for me and proceeded to give me the fellows name and phone number. Given our recent move to a condo on Victoria’s inner harbour, it was important to get the best product. In addition, the style and quality of window coverings was also critical given the major visual impact they would have on the condo. They had to look great for exterior and interior views.

You were extremely patient and provided excellent advice on options. While the in-store meeting was good, it was your willingness to come to the residence and do an on-site consultation that had the biggest impact on our decision.
There were some challenges with the way some windows adjoined others. Precise measurements were necessary for success. “Our house had the original 80’s-vintage drapes, heavy and a faded rusty-brown colour. We updated the living, family and dining room drapes with new drapes from Island Window Coverings, and also changed out some of the drapes for roman blinds and Hunter-Douglas blinds based on Paula’s recommendations.
